I have my Diploma of wine and have over 20 years of experience in diverse roles within the UK and International wine industry. I have recently re-branded my own wine education and events company (Wild about Wine) which I have been running alongside other roles for around seven years.  

I have had many varied wine industry roles over the past twenty years which have ranged from positions in customer services, sales support, and business development to events, copy writing, cellar door tours and retail to winemaking and viticultural work in the Southern and Northern Hemisphere.

I have been lucky enough to spend much of my career working for Bibendum Wine starting my wine journey here in 2002 when they were much smaller than they are today. I spent a wonderful two years working for Laithwaites within the Buying Team looking after Media relations and Events. Other career highlights include joining the 2006 vintage crew in the Barossa Valley at St Hallett, working in viticulture and the cellar door at Leeuwin Estate in Margaret River, Western Australia and working a vintage at Weingut Keller in Rheinhessen, Germany in 2009.

Throughout my career I have spent much of my time teaching about wines, especially in my roles as Account Manager for Bibendum wineand a’Beckett’s in Wltshire where I would regularly train members of the trade. While at Bibendum I helped teach the WSET Advanced programme and focused on the Wines of Germany and Austria.  I initially set up my wine education business in 2010 when living in Germany. I converted our large cellar into a wine tasting room where I would have regular cellar door events and would teach wine classes to the local Expat community. Wine is my passion and I love sharing my love for all things vinous in a fun and informal way.
