Before I found my calling in wine, I had a successful career in sports marketing, most notably for the Italian Olympic Committee at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing and the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
I decided to pursue my love of wine and, having moved to London from Italy, I joined Fortnum and Mason as a Wine Advisor in 2012, followed by five years working as a Sommelier, first with The Royal Automobile Club then The Oriental Club, where I was promoted to Head Sommelier and Beverage Manager in 2017 and completed the WSET Diploma and the WSET Educator Program.
I am now leading Veraison, Berkmann Wine Cellars’ independent training department, specializing in commercial objective-lead wine training.
