Tim Syrad has been educating and entertaining people about wine since 1991.

Through his company Taste of the Grape he runs corporate and private wine tastings and events.

He has launched and run wine societies in Berkshire, Oxfordshire and West London that meet monthly and give people the chance to discover new wines and new wine regions in a relaxed, convivial setting. He is a regular speaker at other wine groups.

Since 1997 he has taken over 70 groups of people on tours to wine regions in Europe and the New World.

People keep coming back to Tim’s events and tours because they are fun, and can be accessed by everyone, whatever their knowledge about wine. He celebrates the enjoyment that wine brings, whether in discovering a new wine variety or region, perceiving a new aroma or taste, or identifying a fascinating match between wine and food.

Tim is passionate about connecting wine lovers with wine makers.  Through his tours and arranging guest speakers at tastings, he introduces winery owners and wine makers who demonstrate that great wine is not just a reflection of its terroir but also of the people who make it.
