Founded in 1997 by winemaker Angelos Iatridis and viticulturist Makis Mavridis, Alpha Estate has become a beacon of precision and purity in Greek wine. From its meticulously cared-for vineyards at altitude, the estate crafts wines that speak clearly of Amyndeon’s unique ecosystem—elegant, structured, and deeply terroir-driven.
Their celebrated “Ecosystem” single-block bottlings stand as a testament to scientific rigour balanced with intuition and profound respect for the land. A modern Greek icon.

Amoenos Vineyards — A Collective Preserving Amyndeon’s Soul

Led by the next generation—Angeliki Iatridou, Nikolas Iatridis, Emorfili Mavridou, and Konstantina Mavridou—Amoenos Vineyards brings together local growers united by a shared devotion to their homeland.
Framed by the peaks of Vitsi, Voras, and Vermio, and nurtured by the lakes Petron, Vegoritida, Zazari, and Cheimaditida, their vineyards require minimal intervention. The result is wines of authenticity—expressive of both place and the people who care for it.

GiOinos — A Sparkling New Chapter

Also born from Alpha Estate’s second generation, GiOinos marks a vibrant evolution in Amyndeon’s story: a winery dedicated exclusively to premium sparkling wine. Crafted by the traditional method, these first releases share a deep connection to heritage and are a celebration of tradition reborn
